Very Rare Snake in a Basket Pattern Teapot and Cover c1754-56 Olliver Collection

A Very rare Early Worcester soft paste porcelain teapot and cover, hand painted with a pattern known as the Snake in a Basket pattern c1754-56.

The teapot measures 17cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 12.5cm tall with the cover in place.

The is professional restoration to the tip of the spout and to small chips to the rim of the cover. However, the teapot displays very well.
