Tulip Painter Floral Pattern Teapot and Cover c1780-85

A Lowestoft porcelain teapot and cover, hand painted by the Tulip painter with a floral pattern c1780-85.

The teapot measures 21cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 15cm tall with the cover in place.

Displays very well with professional restoration to the tip of the spout and a 2.5cm body crack. The cover is in excellent condition. The decoration of this example is fabulous, with bright enamels with very little wear, almost as if it was painted yesterday. This is probably the nicest example of this pattern I’ve seen.
