Rare Sunflower Pattern Trio, C1768-70.

A Lowestoft Porcelain trio, hand painted in underglaze blue with the Rare Sunflower pattern, C1768-70.

The Coffee cup measures 8.4cm (3 5/16″) in diameter and stands 6.4cm (2.5″) high. It is in perfect condition with no damage or restoration.

The Teabowl measures 8cm (3 1/8″) in diameter and stands 4.4cm (1 11/16″) high. It also is in perfect condition with no damage or restoration.

The Saucer measures 12.2cm (4 13/16″) in diameter. It has a small restored nick to the rim with 2 hairline cracks off of this. There is also a firing fault to the rim which may have been caused by the stilts used in the firing.

The teabowl is unmarked, the coffee cup and saucer have painters marks to the foot. The coffee cup also has a sticker to the base from the Sutherland collection.
