Three Flowers Pattern Toy Teabowl and Saucer c1780-85

£295.00

Out of stock

An 18th century Lowestoft porcelain toy teabowl and saucer transfer printed with the Three Flowers pattern c1780-85.

The Teabowl measures 5.7cm in diameter and stands 3.1cm tall. It has 16mm hairline running from the rim. There is no other damage or restoration.

The Saucer measures 8cm in diameter. It has a 3mm chip to the rim, this probably started as a stilt mark.

Both parts are unmarked.

This pattern can be found on page 203 in British blue and white porcelain saucers by Steven Goss. Steven Lists this pattern as common, which on full sized examples I would agree with. However, I do not agree that miniature examples printed with this pattern are common, this is only the 2nd teabowl and saucer I have owned in 15 years.
