An 18th century Worcester porcelain globular shape teapot finely painted with the Stag Hunt pattern c 1765-70.

The Stag Hunt pattern was derived from Chinese porcelain of the 1740’s and can be found on the wares of several English porcelain factories including Richard Chaffers and Samuel Gilbody Liverpool as well as Worcester where it was continued into the early 19th century with Chamberlains.

This teapot is complete with a a cover with a fine floral knop and the body is enhanced with fine gilding.

The teapot stands 15.3 cm high including cover and measures 19.0 cm across including spout and handle.

Condition is excellent with slight abrasion to the spout and the cover has had a small rim section re-glued into place. There are no chips or cracks
