James Giles Fancy Bird Pattern Teapot and Cover c1770

A lovely Worcester teapot and cover decorated in the fancy bird pattern, c1770.

The teapot measures 19cm from the tip of the spout to the handle and stands 16cm tall including the finial on the cover.

The teapot displays well unfortunately it does have a crack running from the right of the handle, around the body and up towards the left of the handle. There is also a very small shallow chip to the outside of the spout. There is no other damage or any restoration.

The cover is in brilliant condition with only a very shallow chip to the inner rim.
