Very rare West Pans porcelain teabowl hand painted in underglaze blue with an Island pattern showing a two-tier pagoda and a single story house on one island, a fisherman in a boat and a further island in the background c1765
The teabowl measures 7.7cm in diameter and stands 4.0cm high.
There is a small chip to the rim and the decoration is very blurred.
West Pans blue and white teabowls and saucers are extremely rare maybe due to the factories inability to control the cobalt during firing, resulting in the blurred appearance.
There is an indistinct mark in blue to the base.
