A Very Rare Worcester porcelain teabowl and saucer hand painted in underglaze blue with the Weeping Willow Pattern c1754-56.
The Teabowl measures 7.5cm in diameter and stands 3.7cm tall.
The Saucer measures 11.6cm in diameter.
The Teabowl is undamaged, but has a glazed over flea bite to the rim from manufacture. This can be felt easier than seen. The Saucer has a chip to the rim with associated 8mm hairline at 6 O’clock and another smaller chip opposite.
The Teabowl is unmarked, the saucer has a workman’s mark to the base.
The Saucer is Ex Steven Goss Collection and features in his Excellent book.
