A very rare Liverpool porcelain handled beaker and stand, made at the factory of Richard Chaffers and hand decorated with the Jumping Boy pattern c1756-60.
The Beaker measures 8.8cm in diameter including the handle and stands 6.4cm tall.
The Stand measures 12cm in diameter.
The stand is undamaged but has two underglaze chips to the corners from manufacture. The beaker has a professionally restored chip and crack to one of the corners.
See Liverpool porcelain by Maurice Hillis pg 179 for this beaker. Maurice states that handles are only very rarely added to beakers.
