An 18th century Lowestoft porcelain egg drainer, hand painted with a border pattern c1770-80.
The drainer measures 9.3cm in diameter including the handle.
Two hairline cracks running from the rim. No chips or restoration.
Unmarked.

There isn’t an example of this rare shape within the V&A’s Fabulous collection. There is an example with in the collection of the Norwich Castle Museum but unfortunately it doesn’t have a picture.
