Very Rare Early Crossed Legged Chinaman Pattern Breakfast Teacup c1750-52 Ex Sutherland Collection

A large 18th century Bow soft paste porcelain teacup c1750-52, hand painted with the Crossed Legged Chinaman Pattern.

This cup measures 13.5cm in diameter including the handle and 5.5cm tall.

Broken into two and re stuck.

Marked to the base with 48 in blue.

Ex Susi and Ian Sutherland Collection, although the cup has lost it’s collection label.
