A very rare and early Worcester porcelain cream jug hand painted in the famille rose taste with a crane like bird and oriental shrubs c1752-53.
The jug measures 7.6cm in diameter including the handle and stands 7cm tall.
It is in excellent condition without chips or restoration. There is a very fine 9mm crack running from the rim to the left of the beak and a firing crack to the handle.
Unmarked.
