An 18th century Lowestoft soft paste porcelain coffee cup, hand painted with floral sprays by the so called “Tulip painter” c1780.
The Coffee Cup measures 8.4cm in diameter including the handle and stands 6.3cm tall.
The Saucer measures 12.5cm in diameter.
Both parts are in excellent condition without chips or restoration. There is a 5mm firing crack to the right of the handle of the cup. Both painted rims are showing wear from age and use. The saucer has slight wear to the central flower from use and two underglaze.
