Rare Two Bird Pattern Ridged Sparrow Beak Jug c1790-95

A rare ridged Lowestoft porcelain sparrow beak jug, hand decorated with the Two Bird pattern c1790-95.

The jug measures 7.2cm in diameter including the handle and stands 8.3cm tall.

Excellent condition. Unglazed to the tip of the spout and a spot of the foot, neither of these are damage.

Unmarked.

The Two bird pattern is one of the patterns associated with the Redgrave family. These ridged examples are rare.
