An Uncommon Liverpool Richard Chaffers saucer, hand painted with a Chinese Garden scene pattern c1760-65.
The saucer measures 12cm in diameter.
Two chips to the rim. Underglaze firing crack (from manufacture) to the reverse that doesn’t go through to the face.
Unmarked.
The V&A Museum has a teabowl and saucer decorated in this pattern within their collection.
