A rare Bow porcelain frill vase and cover c1760.
The vase measures 11.4cm in diameter across the top and stand 12.3cm tall with the cover in place.
Losses to the vase and flower petals. Small crack to the cover (probably from firing). Unusually the bird finial is in good order.
Unmarked.
This vase would have been originally part of a set, usually in threes or fives. The V&A has examples of the different type vases in a set, unfortunately they have lost their covers. Type One Type Two
