A rare Lowestoft porcelain coffee can decorated in the Elizabeth Johnson pattern c1765-68.
The can measures 8.2cm in diameter including the handle and stands 6.8cm tall.
Displays well. There is a crack running from the rim and across the foot, and a chip to the rim next to the handle.
Marked to the foot rim with a decorator’s mark.
