Rare Early Derby Floral Pattern Octagonal Coffee Coffee Cup c1756-60

An early Derby porcelain octagonal coffee cup, hand painted with a floral pattern c1758-60. This cup is rare being octagonal, usually found in quatrefoil shape.

The cup measures 8.4cm in diameter including the handle, and stands 6.1cm tall.

It is in excellent condition with no chips (except for a flea bite to the foot) or restoration. There is a firing crack to the top of the handle. There is slight ware to the painted rim from use.
