A Rare Liverpool porcelain white moulded Saucer dish c1765.
In imitation of Chinese blanc de chine wares, saucer dishes are very rare in all 18th century English porcelain factories and this particular example being in plain white is even more desirable.
The dish measures 19.7cm in diameter.
Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration.
Unmarked.
See the Maurice Hillis Liverpool porcelain P.245 6.53 for a teapot with identical rib moulding and the addition of an underglaze blue painted border to rim and cover.
