Mandarin Lady Seated Under a Tree Pattern Teapot and Cover, C1785-95. (perfect)

A Lowestoft porcelain teapot and cover, hand painted in onglaze colours with a Mandarin style pattern with red and purple flowers border, C1780-1800.

The teapot measures 19.7cm (7 6/8″) from tip of spout to edge of handle and stands 15.2cm (6″) high with the cover in place.

The teapot and cover are both in perfect condition with no damage, restoration or even ware to the onglaze decoration. If I didn’t know it was over 200 years old I’d think it was new out of the factory.
