An uncommon Liverpool porcelain moulded saucer from the factory of Philip Christian c.1770
A well moulded saucer with three different Chinese scenes painted in scroll edged reserves and spaced around an enclosed central panel painted with a floral sprig. A cross hatched border to the outside rim.
See HILLIS P.250 for a rare tea canister and Goss No.276 for similar decoration
The saucer measures 13.0 cm in diameter
Condition is good but there is long 14 cm firing crack to the body, this doesn’t meet the rim.
Unmarked.
