A Liverpool John Pennington soft paste porcelain Tea for Two set, transfer printed with the Fisherman pattern c1775-85.
The Teapot measures 21.3cm in diameter including the hand and the spout, and stands 17.1cm tall with the cover in place. There is no damage to the body of the pot. The finial of the cover has been broken off and re stuck. There is a 3mm firing crack to the foot from manufacture.
The Slop Bowl measures 16.7cm in diameter and stands 6.9cm tall. There is no damage or restoration. There are stilt marks/manufacturing faults to the rim.
The Sugar Bowl measures 12cm in diameter and stands 5.8cm tall. There is no damage or restoration. There are stilt marks to the rim from manufacture.
The Sparrow Beak Jug Measures 8.3cm in diameter and stands 10.8cm tall. There is a 5mm diameter shallow chip to the rim, and a firing crack to the top of the handle. There is no other damage or any restoration.
1st Teabowl measures 8.7cm in diameter and stands 4.9cm tall. There is no damage or restoration. (This is the teabowl pictured without its saucer)
1st Saucer Measures 13.6cm in diameter. It Has manufacturing faults to the foot rim and glaze within it. (This is the saucer pictured without a teabowl)
2nd Teabowl measures 8.6cm in diameter and stands 4.7cm tall. Excellent condition.
2nd Saucer measures 13.4cm in diameter. Excellent condition.
All parts are unmarked.
