A first period Worcester porcelain saucer, hand painted with a Floral pattern c1763-65. This saucer was probably decorated by James Giles, but could also be of a slightly earlier date and be painted by James Rodgers. The ladybird is very Giles.
The saucer measures 13.1cm in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no damage, restoration or wear. I hope I look this good when I’m almost 260 years old!!!
Marked to the base with a crossed swords 9 mark.
