Out of stock

An 18th century Lowestoft soft paste porcelain ribbed tea canister of rectangular shape c1770.

Hand painted with the “Onion or Immortelle” pattern derived from the Meissen pattern of the same name.

This popular pattern can be found on several English porcelain factories as well as other German and Continental factories in hard paste porcelain.

The base is marked with a large cross in imitation of the Meissen crossed swords mark.

This example stands 10cm tall and measures 6.5cm wide by 4.5cm deep.

Condition is very good with just some minor restoration to the neck.
