An early Bow porcelain basket, hand painted with bamboo and flowering Peony c1755-58.
It measures 14.8cm in diameter and stands 5.4cm tall.
The basket weave has sprung open in places and has been secured. This is caused by stresses in the porcelain from manufacture.
Unmarked.
This basket was sold at Bonhams in 2007.
