Early Floral Pattern Pickle Dish c1760-62 Ex Norwich Castle Museum

An early Lowestoft porcelain blue and white pickle dish, hand painted with a floral pattern c 1760-62.

The dish measures 9.7cm in diameter by 9.7cm including the stalk and stands 2.6cm tall when on its base.

It is in excellent display condition without cracks or restoration. There are some minor chips to the rim, the largest being 3mm in diameter.

Marked to the inside of the foot with a workman’s mark.
