A press-moulded first period Worcester porcelain hexagonal cream boat with a fine moulded handle c.1758/60
Hand painted in underglaze blue with the “Bare Tree Pagoda” pattern (see BF&S Page 191 1.D.4 for a similar example) The reverse is painted with a variation of the “Treehouse” pattern (BF&S 1.B.12).
This example is marked to the base with a crescent mark.
The creamer stands 4.9cm tall and measures 6.7cm wide and 10.8cm long including the handle.
Condition is very good with just a very fine hairline from the rim.
