Yellow Robed Mandarin Pattern Coffee Cup c1765

An 18th century Worcester porcelain coffee cup with grooved loop handle decorated in bright enamels with a Mandarin pattern comprising two figures, one with a bright yellow robe, in a garden setting c1765-70.

The cup measures 7.8cm in diameter including handle and stands 6.4cm tall.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Unmarked.

Worcester produced a wide range of coffee cups and tea wares beautifully decorated with Mandarin figures. This example is particularly well painted.
