A Worcester soft paste porcelain square dish or tray, transfer printed with the Carnation pattern c1775. This pattern can be found on page 401 (II.C.23) of Worcester blue and white porcelain c1751-90 2nd addition by Branyan, French and Sandon. The pattern in the book contains “fruit sprays” and is listed as rare. This pattern is similar but should not be confused with the Gilliflower pattern (II.C.22) as the prints are totally different. I would suggest the Carnation pattern is uncommon, and rare if you find it with fruit sprigs.
The dish measures 18.9cm in diameter.
It is in excellent condition without damage or restoration.
Marked with a W mark.
