A fine Worcester slop bowl Transfer Printed with the “Birds in Branches” pattern. See Branyan, French & Sandon P.354 11.B.21.
This print is traditionally credited to a Hancock printed design via the style of engraving.
A very similar print was also used by both Caughley and the Liverpool factory of John Pennington.
There is a printed, hatched crescent mark to the base.
The bowl measures 15.9 cm in diameter and stands 7.5 cm tall.
Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration.
