Very Rare John Pennington Scroll Border Floral Pattern High Chelsea Ewer c1770-75

A Liverpool John Pennington porcelain high chelsea ewer, hand painted with the scroll border pattern c1770-75.

The ewer measures 10.5cm in diameter including the handle and stands 7.7cm tall.

Displays very nicely with professionally restored body crack. Slight staining above the handle.

Unmarked.

This very rare pattern is also found on Worcester porcelain of a similar date.
