Very Rare Zig Zag Fence Rock Peony and Willow Pattern Barrel Shaped Teapot and Cover c1762-65

A very rare Lowestoft porcelain barrel shaped teapot and cover, hand painted with a Chinese garden scene c1762-65.

It measures 16.6cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 10.6cm tall with the cover in place.

Professionally restored stapled hot water body crack. Staining to the inside of the lid where it’s not glazed.

Marked to the inside of the foot with an 8 workman’s mark.
