A very rare 18th century soft paste porcelain moulded mug, made at West Pans in Scotland by William Littler c1760-77. Hand decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a landscape pattern.
The mug measures 11.4cm in diameter including the handle and stands 11.1cm tall.
It displays very well but has a 6mm chip to the rim and a crack running from the rim and across the base. There is no restoration.
