Very Rare Three Flowers Pattern Round Butter Tub and Cover c1770-80

A very rare Lowestoft porcelain round butter tub and cover, transfer printed with the Three Flowers pattern c1770-80.

The tub measures 12.7cm in diameter across the handles and stands 8.1cm tall with the cover in place.

Minor chip to the rim of the cover, may have been caused by kiln furniture.

Marked to the base of the tub and stand with open crescent marks.
