An 18th century Worcester porcelain teapot, transfer printed with the very rare Ribbon Root Pattern c1775.
The teapot measures 15.2cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 9.5cm tall.
It is in excellent display condition. There is restoration to the tip of the spout (underside) and over painting to a crack to the left of he spout (looks to be caused from hot water and doesn’t meat the rim). There is a firing crack to the bottom joint of the spout to the body. There is a chip to the foot rim. The cover is not the original, but a matched Worcester cover.
Marked to the base of the pot with and open crescent mark.
