A very rare Lowestoft porcelain coffee pot, hand decorated in pink monochrome with two figures in a garden c1770-75.
The coffee pot measures 20.5cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 22cm tall with the cover in place.
Professional restoration to a horizontal 7cm body crack to the body above the spout. The cover right hand 1/3 is replaced, with no damage or restoration to the cover’s knop. No other damage or restoration.
Unmarked.
A teapot and saucer in this very rare pattern can be found within the collection of the Norwich castle museum.
