Very Rare Isleworth Little Fisherman Pattern Creamboat c1768-75

A rare Isleworth porcelain creamboat hand painted in underglaze blue with a version of the Little Fisherman pattern usually found on Worcester porcelain c1768-75.

The handle shape and unique border decoration are both indicative of an Isleworth attribution

The creamboat measures 14.4cm in length including handle and stands 6.4cm tall.

Excellent condition.

See British Porcelain Sauceboats of the 18th Century by Nicholas Panes Pg241 Fig.354 for a very similar example. This sauceboat is the smallest of four different sizes found on Isleworth porcelain.

I can’t find an example of this pattern creamboat being sold. These examples where sold at Woolly and Wallis and Bonhams.
