Very Rare High Island Pattern Saucer c1753-54

A very rare Worcester porcelain saucer, hand painted in underglaze blue with the High Island pattern c1753-54.

The saucer measures 12.3cm in diameter.

25mm hairline crack running from the rim at 3 O’clock. Star glaze crack to the inside of the foot, which doesn’t go through to the face. No chips or restoration.

Workman’s mark to the base.
