Very Rare Geranium Leaf Moulded Butterboat c1770

A Very rare moulded Lowestoft butter boat, hand decorated with a floral pattern c1770.

The butterboat measures 9.8cm in length including the handle and stands 3.7cm tall.

Kiln spit to the glaze, chip to the inside of the rim and a fine 16mm hairline to the rim. No restoration.

Marked to the inside of the foot.
