A very rare Lowestoft porcelain teabowl and saucer, hand decorated with corn flower sprigs and dated Jany 27 1796.
The Teabowl measures 8.3cm in diameter and stands 4.7cm tall.
The Saucer measures 13.2cm in diameter.
There is a professionally restored chip with associated crack to the rim of the teabowl. The Saucer has a small chip to the rim.
The Teabowl is from the Eileen Pull Collection, the Saucer the Howell collection.
It is thought the date celebrates the birth of Robert Browne’s Youngest son.
