Very Rare Carpet Seller Pattern Coffee Pot and Cover c1770-75

A Very rare Lowestoft porcelain coffee pot and cover, transfer printed in underglaze blue with the carpet seller pattern c1770-75.

The coffee pot measures 20.5cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 23.2cm tall.

Displays very well with restoration to the end of the spout and the rim of the cover. The cover has been broken into two and re suck with the join hidden. There are two hairline cracks running from the rim, the longest being 8.5cm in length.
