Very Rare Candle fence Pavilion Pattern Saucer Dish c1770

A Very rare Worcester porcelain saucer dish, hand painted with the Candle fence pavilion pattern (I.D.20) c1770.

The dish measures 18.3cm in diameter.

Excellent condition.

Marked to the base with an open crescent mark.

A saucer sold at Bonhams part of the Zorensky collection.

Most surviving examples of this pattern have been overpainted in red enamel. Plain blue and white versions are very rare.
