A very rare Bow blue and white saucer hand painted in underglaze blue with a Chinese garden scene showing a large peony alongside a zig-zag fence with a flowering prunus tree. The scene is enclosed within a single line border c.1756

The saucer bears a workman’s mark no. 22 to the base.
Diameter of the saucer is 10.8 cm.
Condition is excellent with just a tiny glaze flaw to the rim. No damage or restoration.
