A very rare Baddeley Littler teapot and cover, hand painted with a Mandarin pattern c1780-85.
The Teapot measures 18.5cm in diameter including the handle and the spout, and stands 14cm tall with the cover in place.
Displays very well but has a crack to the body. The cover has restoration to its rim and a replace finial.
For other examples of Baddeley Littler porcelain within the V&A, there isn’t however a teapot in their collection.
