Uncommon Two House River Landscape Pattern Teabowl and Saucer c1785-90

An 18th century Lowestoft porcelain teabowl and saucer, hand painted with a house and river landscape pattern c1785-90.

The Teabowl measures 7.6cm in diameter and stands 4cm high. There is a chip to the rim with a 26mm crack running from it.

The Saucer measures 11.5cm in diameter. There are stilt marks to the rim from manufacture, one has caused a chip to the rim. There are two hairline cracks running from this, the longest being 21mm.

There is no other damage or any restoration to either part.

Both parts are unmarked.

This pattern can be found on page 207 of British blue and white saucer by Steven Goss, and is listed as Uncommon.
