Uncommon Rose and Floral Sprays Pattern Coffee Cup and Saucer c1785-90

An 18th century Lowestoft porcelain coffee cup and saucer. Hand painted with roses and floral sprays, a pink fish scale border to the inside of the rim. This cup is unusual having a green band below the border which is usually red.

The Coffee Cup measures 7.9cm in dimeter including the handle and stands 6.3cm tall.

The Saucer measures 12.5cm in diameter.

The coffee cup displays as perfect but has a small professionally restored chip to the inside of the rim. The saucer has 2 y shaped fine cracks to the body which are almost invisible on dispaly and a 2cm hairline running from the rim.
