Uncommon Rock Strata Pattern Teabowl and Saucer, C1770-80. (excellent)

A Lowestoft Porcelain teabowl and saucer, transfer printed in underglaze blue with the rock strata Pattern, C1770-80.

The teabowl measures 7.9cm (3 1/8″) in diameter and stands 4.3cm (1 6/8″) high.

It is in excellent condition with no chips or restoration. There is very slight staining to the foot.

The saucer measures 12.4cm (4 7/8″) in diameter.

It is also in excellent condition with only a glaze crack to the face (below the island to the right). There is no other damage or restoration.
