An 18th century Liverpool porcelain coffee can, from the factory of James Pennington. The can is hand painted in underglaze blue with the Temple Rocks pattern c1767-72.
It measures 8.2cm in diameter including the handle and stands 6.3cm tall.
Three hairline cracks and a chip to the rim. No modern restoration.
Unmarked.
