A Lowestoft porcelain trio, hand painted with a Chinese garden pattern c1780-85.
The Coffee cup measures 7.9cm in diameter including the handle and stands 5.8cm tall. Chip with associated 6mm hairline, and three other chips to the rim. No restoration.
The Teabowl measures 8cm in diameter and stands 4.6cm tall. Flea bite chip and 6mm hairline to the rim. No restoration.
The Saucer measures 12.5cm in diameter. Stilt marks and two chips to the rim. No cracks or restoration.
All parts are unmarked.
This patten is more commonly found with a circle and dot border, the border found on this example is rare. See Steven Goss blue and White porcelain saucers Pg 204 for an example of this pattern with the more commonly found border.
