A Lowestoft Porcelain teabowl and saucer, transfer printed in underglaze blue with the rock strata Pattern and clobbered in onglaze red, C1770-80.
The teabowl measures 7.9cm (3 1/8″) in diameter and stands 4.1cm (1 5/8″) high.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or restoration. There is a manufacturing flaw to the inside.
The saucer measures 12.4cm (4 7/8″) in diameter.
It is also in excellent condition with no damage or restoration, there is some kiln dirt and blackening to the foot.
